Cindy Karlson

Cindy is an Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She works for the Department of Pediatrics, Devision of Hematology/Oncology, and Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. She does clinical work with children with cancer, sickle cell disease, and other hematology conditions research on (1) pain in pediatric hematology/oncology, (2) neuro-cognitive effects of cancer and sickle cell disease, and (3) family coping in pediatric hematology/oncology. Teaching and training of undergraduates, graduate students, psychology interns, medical students, and medical fellows.
